IPL’s Home Energy Inspector is an online audit tool that helps IPL customers analyze their home's energy use to find ways to save.

Home Energy Estimator: Not an IPL customer? Or don't want to set up an online account? You can still get general energy-saving information with this tool.

Interactive Energy Home: Take a virtual energy-saving tour.

The tool asks you a series of questions about your home and energy use and then links to your personal billing and usage data to determine ways to help you save. Upon completing the questions, IPL will send you a free energy efficiency kit. Only IPL customers with an online account are eligible to receive an energy efficiency kit. You should receive your kit in four to six weeks. Customers who have participated in the In-Home Energy Savings Program or the Weatherization Program and have already received CFLs and aerators may still use the On-Line Audit tool, but are not eligible to receive the energy efficiency kit.

Soon you will also be able to track your progress as you make changes to your home.

To use the Home Energy Inspector, you’ll need to login to your IPL account or create an account if you are a first time user. First time users will need their IPL account number.
