The Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission (IURC) approved IPL’s request for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (CPCN) which allows IPL to invest approximately $600 million into a new combined-cycle gas turbine (CCGT) power station near Martinsville. After a competitive bidding process, the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract has been awarded to CB&I Stone & Webster.

If plans are approved by the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission (IURC), Indiana Water Partners (IWP), a joint venture between Bowen Engineering and Burns & McDonnell, will be the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contractor to install and operate wastewater treatment technologies at the Petersburg Generating Station in southern Indiana and Harding Street Station in Indianapolis.
