Senate Enrolled Act (SEA) 340 became law on March 27, 2014, allowing eligible commercial and industrial customers the opportunity to opt out of further participation in IPL's energy efficiency programs. Eligible customers are those with more than 1 MW of actual demand on an individual IPL service at a single qualifying site within the past 12 months. If you are an eligible customer, you will have been contacted by the IPL Strategic Customer Accounts team. For more information, see the IPL Energy Efficiency Program Opt-Out Form.
SEA 340 also allows customers who have previously opted out the ability to opt back in to participation in IPL's energy efficiency programs. For information, please see the IPL Energy Efficiency Program Opt In Form.
Information about Opt Out/Opt In are found in IPL's Standard Contract Rider No. 22.
