Pursuant to the rules established by the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission (170 IAC 4-4-3), IPL has established an application and approval process to allow interconnection to our electric system.

For systems less that 10kW in size and outside the Indianapolis Central Business District:

For systems larger than 10kW in size and for systems connected within the Indianapolis Central Business District:

Please note that all owners of systems to be connected within the Indianapolis Central Business District regardless of size must complete a Level 2 or 3 Application and Agreement.
